The leaves of these kalimantans tend to start out a delicate pinkish blush that ages into vivid green with a nice bright, almost metalic red vein that fades to green as it ages. For those looking for that classic kratom look these specimens are a textbook example.

Fantastic Example of the Species
The plant arrived with a healthy root system and plenty of vigor. It’s hard to overstate how gorgeous it is - it’s got the long thin leaves typical of a younger plant replete with delicate rippling, intricate venation and an ever-changing spectrum of colors. I’m very much looking forward to watching it mature!

So Happy with my Plants
Interestingly enough, I ordered plants from two different sellers. Both came in and both were healthy, and yes I know size does not matter but the ones I received from Bounty Botanicals were significantly larger and had more leaves than the "other " seller.
