Live Salvia divinorum Bunnell Clone – Rooted in Grow Plug

Salvia divinorum (Bunnell clone) is a rare and historically significant variety of Salvia divinorum, treasured by collectors and ethnobotanical researchers for its stable growth traits and unique cultural background. Each plant is a well-rooted cutting established in a biodegradable grow plug, ready to transition smoothly into your preferred growing medium.

About the Bunnell Clone

The Bunnell clone is one of the few surviving cultivated lineages of Salvia divinorum, believed to have originated from material distributed by horticulturist Daniel Siebert and named after its early caretaker. Known for its consistent leaf morphology and vigorous rooting response, it has become the standard for propagation worldwide.

Why Choose Grow Plug Format?

  • ✅ Ready-to-plant—perfect for hydroponic setups or soil transfer
  • ✅ Clean, pest-free, and propagated for genetic consistency

Growing Tips

Salvia divinorum thrives in humid, shaded environments with moderate temperatures (60–80°F). Keep soil or media moist but not soggy, and avoid direct, intense sunlight. Gradually acclimate plants to open-air conditions if grown indoors.

    Salvia divinorum plugs

Posted by Fran on Oct 11th 2022

They arrived very healthy, looking, snug and safe in their packaging. I've followed the online directions for acclimatizing them, and so far they are doing nicely. I should have prepared their initial pots and domes ahead of time and had them waiting., but I set things up as soon as they arrived. I'm very grateful that bounty botanicals is growing these plants so nicely.

The Salvia is doing very well, treating it right and it's permablushing, I burnt it a little because I gave it too much sun, but the specimen is superb
