Live Salvia divinorum Bunnell Clone – Rooted in 2.5-Inch Pot

This Salvia divinorum Bunnell clone is a fully rooted, actively growing plant established in a 2.5-inch pot. Cultivated from cuttings of the classic Bunnell lineage, it’s ideal for collectors seeking a healthy, ready-to-grow specimen with minimal transplant stress.

About the Bunnell Clone

Believed to be one of the earliest cultivated lineages outside Mexico, the Bunnell clone has been maintained through cuttings for decades preserving its original genetics. Its lush, broad leaves and consistent growth pattern make it a favorite among horticulturists and botanical researchers alike.

Why Choose the Potted Format?

  • ✅ established root system for faster growth
  • ✅ Ideal for display, propagation, or further research

Cultivation Conditions

Salvia divinorum prefers moderate temperatures and filtered light, mimicking its native Sierra Mazateca cloud forest habitat. Maintain humidity 60%+ when possible and use well-draining, organic-rich soil for optimal growth.

    Beautiful Plant

Posted by Shawn Hamilton on Oct 23rd 2021

As with other plants I've bought from this seller, I give this transaction five stars! Sometimes a problem with an order tells you more about a vendor than a flawless transaction. Such is the case with the salvia I ordered. It arrived in a timely fashion and was well-packed, but an accumulation of moisture in a paper towel led to the stem rotting through. I wouldn't call it a seller "error" because he did everything right. The important thing is that he replaced this plant immediately! This is how a professional operates -- unlike some other would-be growers I've run across online. I consider this seller fully vetted as a reliable and knowledgeable seller!

    Very happy with my sally!

Posted by Dylan on Jul 9th 2021

The plant was shipped out quickly and very well packaged. It's a pretty big clone, so even though it was delayed a bit by a holiday, it survived just fine. The soil was wrapped in plastic to keep the moisture in and it seemed to work very well. Bounty Botanicals was quick to respond to my questions and very friendly. I have no doubt that they care a lot about these plants and making sure they get the proper care they need. It's been about half a year since my purchase, and my sally is a few feet long and growing like crazy. It might take a while to figure out the right conditions to give it, but these plants are pretty strong (even if they're a bit dramatic). Overall I'm really happy with my plant and my experience with Bounty Botanicals

    Plant arrived well-rooted and healthy!

Posted by James on Feb 2nd 2021

The specimen I ordered was shipped quickly and arrived in good condition inside a narrow cardboard box well-secured with tape with a damp paper towel taped onto the soil, keeping it from drying out. My particular plant was too tall for the box and arrived bent over, but with no breaking or damage and only slightly dehydrated. There are actively growing nodes near the bend, and I was considering cutting it to straighten it out, but that is no longer necessary, as with 2 days in the greenhouse it has almost completely straightened out again. The leaves have all perked back up and have regained their silver coating of trichomes. Very satisfied with the condition the plant arrived in, and with how well-rooted the cutting was. I would happily order from you again!

Plants arrived quickly, in tact, and healthy, 3 days after repotting, all the leaves are vivid and healthy, no drooping and new leaf growth is already visible. I love these beauties. Will be purchasing more plants from these folks 100%

    Beautiful and lively plant!

Posted by Daniel Kirkpatrick on Nov 4th 2020

Plant arrived on time and in perfect condition. It was delivered on a below freezing day and left outside for a few hours but it's surviving just great. I followed the humidity dome instructions and the plant never wilted. It is planted now in an aquaponic/hydroponic setup and starting to grow again. One note, I payed extra to purchase the plant in soil in a pot rather than in a root plug for the specific reason of washing away all the dirt to expose the roots to plant into the clay pebbles of my hydro system. When I washed away the dirt, I found a root plug there! I'm a little concerned that it's going to break down and clog up my plumbing, fingers crossed it's inert. I do understand you propagate these from clones and it's easiest to do that with root plugs but I thought I was paying more money because you took the extra effort not to use root plugs for them in the first place. Anywho, I'd be glad to change my rating to a 5 star review and allow you to post this on your webpage as such if you add a disclaimer that the potted plants you sell are still in root plugs underneath the soil in case there are others looking to plant into hydro systems.
