Salvia divinorum is a psychoactive plant in the mint family and is native to the cloud forest of Sierra Mazateca in Oaxaca, Mexico. Here the diviners sage enjoys high humidity, cool temps, and lots of shade below the forest canopy. Although salvia can be grown in higher temps and lower humidites it is adapted to this climate and grows best when these conditions are met!
